How LendingTree Rates Credit Cards?
Our experts rate credit cards based on several factors including card benefits, bonus offers and independent research. Credit card issuers do not influence or have a say in our card ratings. Read our credit card methodology here.If you are a small business owner interested in earning cash back in popular spending categories, like office supplies and phone services, the recently launched U.S. Bank Triple Cash Rewards Visa® Business Card may be what you’re looking for.
Along with cashback on every purchase, the card comes with a competitive signup bonus: Earn $750 in cash back — just spend $6,000 on the Account Owner's card in the first 180 days of opening your account.
The U.S. Bank Triple Cash Rewards Visa® Business Card also lets cardholders carry a balance without paying interest for more than a year — thanks to its generous intro APR offer on purchases and balance transfers.

Sign-up bonus
Earn $750 in cash back — just spend $6,000 on the Account Owner's card in the first 180 days of opening your account.
The amount of this card’s sign-up bonus is on par with similar business credit cards that offer cashback rewards and a $0 annual fee, but what stands out is the generous amount of time you have to earn the bonus.
By contrast, many cards require you to reach the spend threshold within the first 90 days or first three months of card membership to earn the bonus. For example, with the Capital One Spark Cash Select, cardholders earn $500 Cash Back once you spend $4,500 on purchases within the first 3 months from account opening.
Intro APR on purchases and balance transfers
The U.S. Bank Triple Cash Rewards Visa® Business Card offers a 0% intro APR for 12 billing cycles on purchases, then a 18.29% to 27.29% variable APR will apply.
Plus, get an APR of N/A, after which a 18.29% to 27.29% variable will apply.
These offers can help you finance a large business purchase and pay it off over time, or if you have a large amount of high interest debt that you want to transfer.
Annual fee
The U.S. Bank Triple Cash Rewards Visa® Business Card charges a $0 annual fee.
Modest rewards rate on general purchases
While the U.S. Bank Triple Cash Rewards Visa® Business Card offers a generous amount of cashback on purchases at gas stations, office supply stores, cell phone service providers and restaurants, all other purchases only earn 1% cash back.
So if your company spends a large amount in other categories, like travel, you may be able to get more bang for your buck with a flat-rate cashback card or a travel card, such as the Capital One Spark Cash Plus or the Capital One Spark Miles for Business.
Balance transfer fee
Although the U.S. Bank Triple Cash Rewards Visa® Business Card comes with a long intro APR on balance transfers, know that you will be charged the following balance transfer fee: Either 3% of the amount of each transfer or $5 minimum, whichever is greater.
Some restrictions on gas rewards
Be aware that purchases of gasoline in excess of $200 will not be deemed to be a purchase of automobile gasoline and as such will earn a reward of 1%.
If you’re interested in a $0 annual fee business card with an even higher sign-up bonus and cashback rate at office supply stores and on internet, cable and phone services, the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card may be a better fit. Just know, the card also comes with a higher spend requirement to earn the bonus and offers a slightly lower rewards rate at restaurants and gas stations.
Ink Business Cash® Credit Card holders can earn the following sign-up bonus: Earn $350 when you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first three months and an additional $400 when you spend $6,000 on purchases in the first six months after account opening.. Additionally, earn 5% cash back on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases at office supply stores and on internet, cable and phone services each account anniversary year. earn 2% cash back on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases at gas stations and restaurants each account anniversary year. earn 1% cash back on all other card purchases with no limit to the amount you can earn.
We should note, the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card limits the amount of rewards you can earn at the higher rates to the first $25,000 spent on office supply store, internet, cable and phone service purchases and the first $25,000 spent on restaurant and gas station purchases each account anniversary year. So if you max out the $25,000 spend cap, you’ll earn a maximum of $1,250 in the 5% categories and $500 in the 2% categories, for a total of $1,750. Once you reach the spend cap, the rate drops to 1% cash back.
By comparison, the U.S. Bank Triple Cash Rewards Visa® Business Card does not limit the amount of cash back you can earn at the higher rate. For example, if your company spends $58,335 on gas station, office supply store and cell phone service providers in a year, you’ll also earn $1,750 in cash back on those purchases, but if your business spends more than that, you could end up earning more cash back on the U.S. Bank Triple Cash Rewards Visa® Business Card.
Also, if you’re planning to finance a large purchase, the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card lets you do so interest-free for less time than the U.S. Bank Triple Cash Rewards Visa® Business Card. The Ink Business Cash® Credit Card offers a 0% Intro APR on Purchases for 12 months, then an ongoing APR of 17.99% - 25.99% variable. Additionally, the card does not offer an introductory APR on balance transfers.
